Welcome back to Healthy Romantic Relationships! Today we dive into Attachment Theory and how it can help us Find and Keep Love based on the Science of Adult Attachment
My desire is that you will emerge from today’s conversation understanding that each of us behaves in relationship in one of three distinct ways, anxiously attached, avoidant attached or securely attached. So what does that mean?
Today’s guests explain the difference in attachment styles, the interplay that occurs when you and your partner have different styles and how that plays out in love and conflict. It is our hope that you will be able to identify your own style and that of those you are in relationship with so that you can either find a compatible partner or improve your current relationship.
A little about our guests…Drs. Kimberly Murray and Gregory Seibert are licensed marriage and family therapists with over 20 years combined clinical and research experience in the world of relationships. They share these experiences on their podcast entitled Relationships Inside Out where they dive into topics such as sex, conflict, happiness, and family dynamics.
